This month I just want to write a short note to thank you for your faithful and much needed support. As the battle continues we are becoming increasingly aware of the strongholds that the enemy has established against God's people. At the same time we are excited to see how these very strongholds are being used by God to awaken His people to their spiritual poverty and stir them up to participate in the battle through prayer. We praise the Lord that He is bringing us as a people to a place of recognition of our desperate need for revival and causing us to turn to Him in our need.

Cora has been feeling bad and is unable to write this month because her right hand has been very sore and weak. The pressure sores, muscle spasms and stomach problems continue to keep her from doing much of anything physically except lay in bed along with short walks through the house.

There are, however, two exceptions to this. Recently the Lord clearly showed her that she needed to make every effort to go to church. He told her that she needed the Body and the Body needed her. So every Sunday morning and Wednesday we get her to church and set up a lawn chair in the aisle with foam rubber and pillows on it so she can meet with God's people. It has been a humbling experience for all of us but we believe it is important for her to be at church at this time.

Our Wednesday night prayer service has been especially blessed by the Lord and has increased the amount of prayer for Cora. At the same time we feel our coming is making the Body keenly aware of it's need to see the power of God released in lives so we can go out and minister to the world powerfully in Jesus' Name. We would really appreciate your increased prayer support at this time since it is very hard on Cora.

Monday night David, Jenny and I went to the first night of Basic Youth Conflicts and I was really blessed when reminded of the meaning of grace. Bill Gothard's definition is "the desire and power to do God's will". All of us thank you and praise the Lord for the abundant grace that He has given us these last few years as a result of your faithful and fervent prayers. And our prayer for you is that the Lord will give you more and more grace so that you can bring much honor and glory to Him as you walk in His light.
